Mieke Driessen

In 1978 her mum popped her out, after that she went to the Art academy in the Netherlands and graduated in 2004 al an illustrator. Between her birth and the art academy she graduated from the graphical school in multimedia. Now she is working as an colourful mixed media artist.

She is always searching for the power of the simplicity in character, emotions, expressions and attitudes. Her love and interest goes to little things that make other people smile. With here imagination and energy she trys to bring back child happiness in the grownup people.

She works for different media, like illustration to cheer up magazines, illustrations and animation and character design for television and using her happy childlike style for art project. One year ago she discovered a new virus, the foomps!
